Beginning September of 2009 Coach Steve Silvey has just release his NEW 82 page Arkansas Training Program. As the Sprints/Hurdles/Relays mentor at the University of Arkansas from the fall of 1994 through the 2000 outdoor season, he was part of 13 NCAA indoor and outdoor track & field and cross country team titles and 17 SEC "TEAM" Championships. His athletes won 15 All-American honors (including one NCAA champion and three NCAA runner-ups) and 13 outdoor track and field SEC individual titles. Prior to Arkansas Silvey won a NJCAA Record 15 National Championships at Blinn Junior College. Silvey was also inducted into the Junior College Hall of Fame in 2000 for his outstanding record.

This easy to follow training workout "COOKBOOK" now makes it much easier for coaches to plan the right type of workouts during Fall Conditioning, Indoor Season, Early Season, Mid-Season, Late-Season & the critical Championship Phase. The book covers events from 100 meter to 800 meters as well as both hurdle events and relays.

Coach Silvey’s University of Arkansas 2000 season was perhaps the finest by his athletes who posted one of the nations top times in the 4 x 100 relay (39.27), a collegiate record in the Sprint Medley Relay (3:12.13), took second in the NCAA 4 x 400 Final (3:02.02), and the Shuttle Hurdle Relay won the prestigious Penn Relays.

The Arkansas Shuttle relay in the fastest time in the world for the 2000 season with (55.37) among his individuals, DeMarcus Brown was an All-American in the 110 hurdles and owned a collegiate best of 13.72-one of three Hogs that ran 13.75 or faster that year under his guidance-while All-American 400 Hurdler Samuel Glover ran a season best of 49.08.

Also at the NCAA Level, he coached 800 meter Champion Brandon Rock (1:44.64) who made the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team, and a pair of national runner-ups – 110 meter hurdler Kevin White (13.41) and 200 meter sprinter Derrick Thompson (20.31) Presently Silvey coached athlete’s still hold 6 University of Arkansas school track and field records. Silvey has also coached 35 Olympians (14 Medalists) and 26 of his athletes have competed at the World Track Championships (17 Medalists).
